AJ Farley was born and raised in Chicago, where he is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting at DePaul University. AJ previously earned an Associate in Arts degree with high honors from Harold Washington College, where he also focused on accounting.
With ambitions to become a CPA attorney, AJ plans to take the CPA exam after completing his degree at DePaul and subsequently enroll in an MBA program. His long-term goal is to attend law school and build a career working for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), where he aims to uphold and enforce financial regulations. AJ also envisions spending his retirement working with the ACLU, advocating for civil liberties.
AJ’s personal philosophy is grounded in a belief in truth and the conviction that, ultimately, the truth will prevail. He strives to align with the truth in all pursuits, knowing that facing it is inevitable for all. AJ also holds a strong sense of both personal liberty and responsibility for himself and others. In his free time, he enjoys staying current with developments in finance, law, and technology, planning to open a laundromat, investing in stocks, reading, playing chess, and spending time with his oldest friend, his dog, Jake.
